Beth Chatto Garden

The star of the show today, at Beth Chatto’s garden, was the Gravel Garden, which was orignally a car park and set up by Beth and her team as an experiment. Renowed for the fact that it’s never watered, despite being situated in one of the driest parts of the country. Neither is it irrigated and has poor, free-draining soil and still looks splendid in the scorching heat.
