Ritsurin, Takamatsu

Ritsurin Garden is one of the most famous historical gardens in Japan and situated in the city of Takamatsu. The garden conveys the characteristics of the daimyo strolling garden,typically seen in the 17th and 18th century. A daimyo strolling garden is a type of traditional Japanese garden in which ponds and hills are constructed over a vast tract of land to be enjoyed as you leisurely walk around.
