Experiential Cartography
In Page of Cups (2025), the visual language of cartography becomes a site of reclamation, wrested from its colonial and patriarchal traditions of measurement and control, and turned instead toward the invisible geographies of care, embodiment and intuition.
These three maps were made during a gardening residency at The Hide (2025). Mapping became a way of attending – to land, memory, ecology, emotion and the connections between them. Each is less a representation of place than a record of being in it.
